A reply to Dan Genders query.
I’ve only got a small collection and it’s happily remained static for years now. For quite a period a few years ago I used to enjoy participating in forums and engaging with a broader community. After a while I got tired with the grief that went on and just withdrew to enjoying the snakes I keep. Touching on these historical and current shifts in the hobby was nice to hear, and whilst I don’t have a specific question or area to suggest, I would certainly be interested in any of your other thoughts on things relating to the ‘culture’ of the hobby past, present and future. I hope this makes some sense!

This hobby can be and regularly is its own worst enemy. Its how we work with stuff like that.

Snakes ‘N’ Adders is a reptile specialist pet centre located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. The team, comprised of Charles Thompson and Paul Thompson have over 65 years combined experience working with reptiles.
Born of frustration this series acts to dispel the myth that reptile shop owners don’t care. We are ardent support of research of pets and want all keepers to be as successful as possible.
The aim of the videos is to prepare people for different species they may have not have considered. Over time we will work our way through the intermediate and advanced animals as well.
